Who to contact
Tender Bloom helps adults find and discuss temporary childcare. For questions about your account or personal information, contact hello@tenderbloom.co.uk. This is our current support contact while the service is being established.
What you share
When you register, we collect your name, email address, account role and a securely hashed password. Providers add a setting name, area, postcode, description, care ages, hours, rates and available dates. Enquiries contain the requested opening, number of children, ages in months and your message.
Please do not include children’s names, exact dates of birth, health records, home addresses or private documents in an enquiry. These forms are for adults.
Waitlist and contact forms
Our waitlist and contact forms collect your name, email, chosen interest, optional area and any message you send. We store your consent and submission date. The Tender Bloom team uses these details to send the updates you requested or respond to your enquiry. Submissions are held in our private database and can be exported to a spreadsheet by authorised team members. Joining the waitlist does not create an account or reserve a place. You can leave the list or ask us to remove your message by emailing hello@tenderbloom.co.uk.
Why we use it
We use account and enquiry information to provide the service you request: signing you in, displaying your setting, delivering enquiries and keeping replies together. We also use limited request information to prevent misuse and protect accounts.
Who can see it
A provider’s setting details and openings are public. Your name, email address and enquiry are shared with the provider you contact. Your inbox is restricted to you and the provider involved. Password hashes and session records are not displayed publicly.
Storage and service providers
The website runs on Vercel. Account and enquiry records are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon, configured in London. Service providers may process operational information under their own data-protection arrangements. We do not sell account information or use advertising trackers.
Cookies and browser storage
A necessary session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. Animations follow your device’s reduced-motion setting. Clearly labelled sample journeys save demonstration details in your browser only; you can clear those on the sample care plans page.
Keeping and removing information
We keep account information while your account is active and enquiry history so you and the provider can follow your arrangements. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or to close your account. Information may need to be retained where necessary to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation; we will explain this when responding.
Your choices
You can ask about the information we hold, request a copy, ask us to correct it, or request deletion or restriction where applicable. Contact hello@tenderbloom.co.uk. You can also raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
